
Equipment Condition Grading Scale:
Grade 5: Unit is in overall excellent condition (near new) and fully detailed. The unit, in its’ entirety, is mechanically sound and all components and accessories are in full operational order. All fluids are clean and full. Paint, seat, anti-skid pads, decals, plastic covers and components, wheels, and hoses are all in excellent condition with only very minor defects and have no cuts, tears, burns and do not show signs of wear. Tires match by brand, size and style and are in near-new condition.
Grade 4: Unit is in overall better than average condition and fully detailed. The unit, in its’ entirety, is mechanically sound and all components and accessories are in full operational order. All fluids are full, however may require service. Paint, seat, anti-skid pads, decals, plastic covers and components, wheels, and hoses are all in better than average condition with only light oxidation, minor chips, scratches, and have no cuts, tears, and burns. Any previous mechanical and/or cosmetic were performed by professionally trained technicians and that the repairs are of high quality with use of OEM parts and meet OEM specifications. Tires match by brand, size and style and are in good condition.
Grade 3: Unit shows signs of normal wear and tear for age and hours and has been recently cleaned. The unit, in its’ entirety, is mechanically sound however the components and accessories may require maintenance or minor repairs. The fluids maybe low or require replacement. Paint, seat, anti-skid pads, decals, plastic covers and components, wheels, and hoses are all in average or better condition. Oxidation, small dents, minor broken parts, small tears, scratches and chips may be present. Any previous mechanical, cosmetic, and/or structural repairs have been performed to unit’s original published specifications. Tires match in size and style and are in average condition.
Grade 2: Unit shows signs of excessive wear and tear and has not been cleaned or detailed. The unit may have mechanical defects that prohibit it from operating properly. Repairs can be made, but the engine and drive-line (mechanical and/or hydraulic) maybe in poor condition. Operability of components and accessories is questionable. Cosmetically, the unit may have heavy oxidation, medium to large dents, scratches and/or tears. Parts maybe broken and/or missing. Any previous mechanical, cosmetic, and/or structural repairs not performed to unit’s original published specifications. Aftermarket modifications may have been performed and safety switches may have been disconnected. Tires maybe worn and/or mismatched.
Grade 1: Unit shows signs of severe abuse. It maybe cost prohibitive to properly recondition this unit to its’ original published specifications. Previous mechanical, cosmetic, and/or structural repairs have not been performed by properly trained technicians and will not meet unit’s originally published specifications. The unit may have missing or disconnected mechanical parts. Although operable, the unit is near the end of its useful life. Operability of accessories is doubtful.
Grade 0: Unit is inoperative. Mechanical and body parts maybe disconnected, damaged or missing. The unit’s condition renders it suitable for dismantling or scrap.
